Combimix® CM 960 Industrial Super Top

Pumpable Self-Leveling Compound
CM 960 Industrial Super Top is a premium, pumpable, highly abrasion-resistant self-leveling underlayment. It is designed for both interior and exterior concrete substrates and can serve as a direct wear surface in heavy industrial environments or as a base layer beneath coatings such as epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea, or acrylic sealers. With strong compressive and flexural performance, excellent surface bond, and fast set time, CM 960 provides a durable, smooth surface ready for heavy traffic and coatings.

Description

CM 960 is formulated for industrial-grade performance under the most demanding traffic conditions. It offers excellent adhesion, very high wear resistance, and flexibility for multiple finishes including coatings, polishing, and pigmentation.

  • Suitable for interior and exterior concrete substrates
  • May be used directly as a wear surface in industrial settings such as loading docks and warehouses
  • Accepts coatings including epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea, fluorosurfactant sealers, and acrylic systems
  • Can be ground, polished, and pigmented for aesthetic or functional finishes
  • Pumpable for efficient installation over large areas
  • Strengths: compressive ~4,350 psi (C25), flexural ~1,087 psi (F7), tensile bond > 217 psi
  • Fire classification A1fl; water-damage resistant
  • Working time: 15–20 minutes @ 70 °F
  • Final set: 1–3 hours; walkable after cure
  • Coverable with tile after ~12 hours
  • Paintable/coatable after 3–5 days (depending on thickness)

Approved for use on properly prepared concrete substrates in:

  • Heavy industrial wear surfaces (loading docks, warehouses, production floors)
  • Self-leveling base for epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea, acrylic, or terrazzo coatings
  • Polished or pigmented overlay systems
  • Areas requiring high abrasion resistance and quick turnaround

Substrate Requirements

  • Clean, structurally sound concrete (CSP #2–3 profile)
  • Adhesion ≥ 1.5 MPa (217 psi)
  • RH ≤ 90–95% depending on conditions
  • Substrate temp ≥ 50 °F (10 °C); ambient 50–77 °F
  • Concrete must cure ≥ 28 days before application
  • Must be primed with PP 600 before pouring
