Description
The Integrated 3/4″ x 33″ Picket (baluster) is a powder-coated extruded 6063-T6 aluminum baluster with 0.050″ wall thickness. Balusters are inserted into pre-routed holes in the top and bottom rails and are spaced to meet building code requirements for maximum opening size (typically 4″ or less). Each 5′ rail section uses 13 balusters; each 6′ section uses 16 balusters.
Key details include Extruded 6063-T6 aluminum construction with 0.050″ wall thickness; 3/4″ square profile; 33″ length; AAMA 2604 powder-coated finish.
Per the TDS, Intertek testing (Report No. P2566.01-119-19, dated 11/16/22) supports the published performance information. In-Fill Load at Center, 50 lb/sq ft, Achieved 2.5x (128 lb) without failure. In-Fill Load at Bottom, 50 lb/sq ft, Achieved 2.5x (129 lb) without failure. Anchorage of support posts to the supporting structure was not included in the scope of testing and must be evaluated separately per project requirements.
